Contains shellfish – prawns. Minor amount of egg – raw, pasteurised, Worcestershire sauce (fish ingredient), mustard. Gluten-free, non-meat.

BREADED GOUJONS OF LEMON SOLE, SAUCE GRIBICHE
Contains gluten – wheat flour, egg – raw, pasteurised, fish. Non-meat.

LEEK AND POTATO SOUP, CHIVE CHANTILLY 
Contains milk – cream, allium (onion family). Vegetarian.

TEMPURA BATTERED COURGETTE FLOWER, GOLDEN BEETROOT, FETA CHEESE, BASIL DRESSING 
Contains gluten – wheat flour, milk – cheese – goat’s. Vegetarian.

CHICKEN LIVER PARFAIT, ONION CONFIT, SOURDOUGH TOAST 
Contains gluten – wheat flour, milk – butter, onion. (Can be GF with gluten-free bread.)

ROAST SIRLOIN OF LOCAL BEEF, YORKSHIRE PUDDING, BRAISED ONION, DUCK FAT ROAST POTATOES, ANGEL GRAVY
Contains gluten – wheat flour, beef, onion. Minor amount of celery, alcohol – cooked, residual, no sulphur dioxide.

ROAST FOREST COALPIT PORK LOIN, BRAISED ONION, DUCK FAT ROAST POTATOES, APPLE SAUCE
Contains pork, onion. Minor amount of gluten – wheat flour, celery, alcohol – cooked, residual, no sulphur dioxide.

CHAR-GRILLED COD STEAK, TENDERSTEM BROCCOLI, COCKLES, SAUCE VIERGE
Contains fish, cockles (mollusc), shallot. Gluten-free, non-meat.

DEEP-FRIED BEER-BATTERED HADDOCK, MINTED PEA PURÉE, TARTAR SAUCE, CHIPS
Contains gluten – wheat flour, fish. Minor amount of egg, milk – butter, mustard. Non-meat.

BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND AUBERGINE PANANG CURRY, COCONUT RICE, SHREDDED CARROT SAMBAL
Contains coconut, sesame oil, onion. Gluten-free, vegan.

ACCOMPANYING VEGETABLES (CHANGES SEASONALLY)

PEACH MELBA PARFAIT, POACHED PEACH AND RASPBERRIES

ICE CREAM: DARK CHOCOLATE, VANILLA, BANOFFI, MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP  
Contains egg yolk – cooked, milk – cream, alcohol. Vegetarian. (Vegan vanilla, strawberry available. Alcohol applies to mint choc chip flavour.)

SORBET: PASSIONFRUIT, PEACH, BLOOD ORANGE
Contains alcohol – cooked, residual, no sulphur dioxide. Gluten-free, vegan.

The 2014 ‘EU Regulation 1169/2011’ lists 14 major allergen groups:

  • Lupin (seed and flour, but not often seen as a culinary ingredient in the UK)

  • Sulphur dioxide (used as antioxidant and preservative, e.g. wine especially white wines, dried fruits)
  • Tree nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.)
